I was so incredibly tired this morning at 6am. I had a strong urge to turn off my alarm clock and continue sleeping. It's probably my own fault for not sleeping enough. I watch too much Youtube at night. I get about 7 to 7.5 hours sleep but it's not enough. The competition last weekend tired me out as well so I haven't had a chance to recover from that. I only have just over a week of this program to complete. Then I will take a couple weeks rest, train BJJ a little more and then probably hit P90X2.
For some reason I got tired of listening to Mike's voice this morning. He is just too damn enthusiastic at times. Still that's a good trait for a trainer but it grates on me when I am exhausted. I actually don't like this workout. Maybe it's because you have do squat jump with bands around your feet, which is ridiculous, or perhaps it's because the cues are so bad. "Get your band," says Mike. "Which band?" I think. Small one for my legs or the big one for back? Then as I am floundering for the correct band he has already pumped out 3 or 4 reps. Grrrr.
I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend. The pain of overtraining is setting in.
